At the Illinois Burn Prevention Association’s (IBPA) 21st Annual Burn Prevention Golf Invitational on June 7, $80,000 was raised for burn survivors. One hundred and twenty-eight golfers participated in the event, which was held at an exciting and beautiful new location, Mistwood Golf Club in Romeoville.
Money raised from the event was donated to the following organizations:

Money was raised through sponsorships (primarily from members of the fire sprinkler industry), silent auction, and prize raffles. The event now has raised nearly $1.5 million for burn survivor support programs and charities in the last 21 years.
“It was a wonderful event at a terrific location with terrific people. The event cannot be successful without the help and support of many. I personally want to thank all who attended and volunteered,” said Event Chair David Fisher. “We look forward to being back next year at Mistwood and raising more money for our wonderful charities.”
