EVANSTON, IL – A single fire sprinkler extinguished a fire in a living room on the ground floor of an apartment building before the fire department arrived. According to Fire Inspector Anthony Yee, Evanston Fire Department, this building was retrofit with an NFPA 13R sprinkler system. No injuries were reported.
