Fire Sprinklers Extinguish Hotel Fire

AURORA, IL – Fire sprinklers extinguished a fire in a hotel room on the 4th floor of the Holiday Inn Aurora North-Naperville. Fire crews arrived to find heavy smoke on the fourth floor and no evacuation in progress. No injuries were reported.
Fire Sprinklers Kept High-Rise Cooking Fire from Spreading

SPRINGFIELD, IL – Fire sprinklers stopped an unattended cooking fire from spreading in a unit on the 7th floor of a high-rise building. When fire crews arrived, they were able to extinguish the remaining fire. One person was treated on the scene for smoke inhalation and no further assessment was needed. No other injuries were reported.
